Te Awa River ride progress 1

Splice Construction is working with Hamilton City Council to extend the Te Awa River Ride Cycleway (shared by cyclists and pedestrians). This work is part of completing the last link in a 70km path following the Waikato River from HoraHora near Cambridge to Ngaruawahia.

The project includes the installation of retaining walls, slope stabilisation and boardwalks, as well as the excavation, drainage works and concrete placing for the cycleway. The stretch we are working on currently is in the Riverlea area. 1,300m long, it includes 1,000m off road and 300m on road.

We have a team of 10+ staff working consistently across three different sites to complete the project.
